RFQ 2019/102 - Bicycle Parking at Manly Ferry Wharf

The intent of this Request for Quote process is to obtain quotes for increasing bicycle parking opportunities on Council owned land in the vicinity of the Manly Ferry Wharf.

There are a number of existing single or double sided bicycle parking locations in the vicinity of the Manly Ferry Wharf. This RQF process is to identify what locations and types of bicycle parking options would deliver increased bicycle parking to the area. 

All products, parts and components of the proposed bicycle parking storage systems used must reflect the outdoor location of the Manly Ferry Wharf, ocean and salt spray and all weather conditions. 

All bicycle parking options must meet AS2890.3 

All bicycle parking put forward for consideration must be available free of charge to all users. 

The removal and disposal of old bicycle racks, making good of surface for installation and the installation of new bicycle racks must be included in the quote. Council may decide to keep any bicycle racks for other purposes. 

Council has an allocated budget of $80,000 (ex GST) only for the delivery and installation of bicycle parking in the vicinity of Manly Wharf. 

Works are expected to commence in May 2019 and conclude 30 June 2019.

Quotations close at 2pm on 30th April 2019 and must be fully received by this time. 

Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099 by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
