Murrumbidgee Aboriginal Health Consortium Regional Plan
Tender ID: 382178
Tender Details
Tender Description
In 2015 the Murrumbidgee Aboriginal Health Consortium ('the Consortium) was formed to address the challenges facing Aboriginal people in the Murrumbidgee region and to work together and with the community to coordinate activities that improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal People living in the region. The MPHN Health Needs Assessment, October 2017 provides evidence across a number of health and wellbeing indicators that Aboriginal people in our region are a disadvantaged and vulnerable group with higher rates of unemployment, smoking, chronic respiratory disease and diabetes than the general population.
The activities and the priorities of the Consortium are set out in the Murrumbidgee Aboriginal Health Consortium Regional Plan ('the Plan'), a document that the Consortium is responsible for developing and implementing over a three year period. The current plan is due to expire.
MPHN is seeking to engage a suitably experienced provider to undertake the development of the next Murrumbidgee Aboriginal Health Consortium Regional Plan that will set priorities and guide activities of the Consortium over the next three year period. The outcome of this activity is the development of a Regional Plan to be launched in January 2020.
