Supply & Delivery of Plumbing Consumables & Associated Products

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for the supply and delivery of Plumbing Supplies & Associated Products for a three (3) year period with the option to extend for a further two (2) years.

The purpose of this tender is to engage an experienced contractor, to supply and deliver plumbing consumables to Hunter Water on an as required basis.

The items listed in schedule 2 of the tender document are a relative sample of items purchased over the past 12 months. The tender schedules have been separated into the following

1. Consumables items which are purchased over the counter or direct delivery to job sites and
2. Inventory purchases which are ordered via a purchase order and stocked at Hunter Water's North Lambton Depot and other Satellite Stores.

There are in excess of 700 various plumbing consumable products used throughout Hunter Water's area of operations these products are used by Hunter Water's Civil and Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Group for repairs and maintenance of Hunter Water's , Water and Wastewater assets.

Mandatory Requirements
For the plumbing consumable items listed in schedule 2 it is a mandatory requirement that the tenderer have an existing branch located within Hunter Water's area of operation, with this branches operation to be maintained for the life of the contract.

For the consumable items listed in schedule 2 of the tender document to be deemed a conforming submission tenderers must submit pricing for all items which have an estimated usage of 2 and above, and 98% of the overall basket of goods.
