Spotswood Archive Building Fire Services Renewal Works

⁠⁠⁠VicTrack intends to conduct a tender to identify a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to deliver the Spotswood Archive Building Services Renewal project under a Design & Construct contract.

The preliminary Scope of Works (subject to change) consists of the following:
* Detailed Design based on preliminary designs
* Extension of existing water supplies to serve the proposed fire hydrant and fire hose reel system.
* Disconnection of the existing redundant 100mm water supply tapping on east side of property.
* Supply & Install of:
* New fire hydrant system to serve the entire site via use of external fire hydrants.
* New fire hose reel system to serve existing buildings.
* New fire brigade booster and suction arrangement.
* New below ground pipework and associated isolation valves serving the new fire hydrant system.
* Removal of redundant fire hydrant system and capping of redundant below ground fire services pipe work.
* Associated civil/builders works

Targeted award date is early June 2019.
RFT documents including returnable schedules will be released with the tender in early April, 2019.
