Tender for the Supply of Two (2) Backhoe loader

⁠⁠⁠Tender Specification No. W232 is for supply of Two (2) Backhoe loaders.

The machine will be required to operate throughout the Riverina Water County Council area. The purpose of this machine is to perform water main maintenance and pipe laying work. The features of the machine considered to be important for Council will include high manoeuvrability, easy to drive, clear operator visibility, environmentally friendly, quiet operation, flexibility in movement, power to weight ratio and breakout force.

The machine is to be a power side shift model with an extension hoe boom and in cab operated quick change bucket attachment. Other features are an air conditioned cabin and a four in one front bucket with a changeable cutting edge. The loader and rear boom are to display the safe working load limit. The machine is to be an all wheel drive model.

Tenderer’s attention is drawn to the assessment criteria (see section 16) which will be used to select the most advantageous deal for Council. The tender criteria are used to establish the best net present value to Council during its operational life.
