Murrumbidgee Pitch Night I Activate | Innovate | Participate
Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is pleased to call for submissions for the chance to pitch for one-off funding at our inaugural Murrumbidgee Pitch Night, to be held in Griffith on the evening of Thursday, 2 May 2019.
Pitch Night is a new initiative where community-driven, locally-based organisations, including not-for-profits, from across the Murrumbidgee region, can pitch their innovative ideas for addressing health needs of their local communities in an effort to secure funding for their idea. On Pitch Night, three finalists will pitch their initiatives to a crowd of around 100 people. Once all three six-minute pitches are heard, the crowd will pledge funding to one or more initiatives of their choice.
The aim is to provide one-off grant funding, which is provided by MPHN, to establish innovative projects to meet the needs of the proposed community and potentially act as a catalyst for implementation in other communities.
Submissions are open to community-driven, locally-embedded organisations (or a consortia of local organisations), who have an average annual income of $5 million or less.
Submissions close at 3pm AEST on 21 March 2019 and submissions must be fully received by this time.
