Tender Description
The new bridge substructure, superstructure and associated civil works must be constructed in accordance with the design documentation and in conjunction with the Geotechnical reports that are provided for information.
A pre-tender meeting will be held at ARTC's Broadmeadow Offices - see details in the Invitation to Tender Letter included with the tender documents.
The requirements and deliverables for the following components are listed in the notes on the design drawings:
(a) Services, including signalling (where required);
(b) Demolition;
(c) Embankment
(d) Foundations and Footings;
(e) Reinforcement;
(f) Concrete;
(g) Precast Concrete;
(h) Steel work;
(i) Track work;
(j) Geotechnical;
(k) Survey.
(l) Temporary Works; and
(m) Road & Civil Work.
The Contractor must adhere to RMS Specifications for: Pre-casting, In-situ concreting and Erection of concrete members, particularly:
(a) B80 Concrete Work for Bridges;\
(b) B115 Precast Concrete Members (Not Pre-tensioned); and
(c) B153 Erection of Precast Concrete Members (Not Pre-tensioned).
Completed responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box (see option below). This Tender uses two (2) tender boxes as follows:
1) The first tender box "05849 Section B Part 1" is to be used to submit Section B Part 1 Commercial Schedules, including the Excel based Fee Schedule; and
2) The second tender box "05849 Section B Part 2 and Other" is to be used to submit Section B Part 2 Technical Schedules and all other Tender documentation.
