Design and Construction of Connors Creek Bridge Replacement

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Contractors for Contract No. T089/2019 Design and Construction of Connors Creek Bridge Replacement.

It is a Quality Assurance Design and Construct contract with method of payment being Lump Sum.

Connors Creek Bridge is an existing dual lane timber bridge with a concrete deck. The scope of works for the project include the following;

Detailed design and preparation of design drawings for a new reinforced concrete bridge with a design life of 100 years to replace the existing structure;
Preparation of a design report providing justification and calculations for the design drawings;
Demolition of the existing timber bridge and disposal of the materials at a licenced waste disposal facility; and
Construction of the new bridge and roadworks associated with the bridge approaches in accordance with the approved design drawings. 

Tenderers are encouraged to attend the pre-tender briefing meeting and site inspection held 10.30am AEDT, Tuesday 19 February 2019, Connors Creek Bridge, Woodsreef Road, Barraba.

Tenders close at 11:00am AEDT, Thursday 14 March 2019.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender and any Tenderer who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
