Overview
Health Infrastructure (NSW) is seeking project manager services for the Health Asset and Equipment Renewal Program (HAERP) over an approximate 4 year period, to assist with program delivery across HAERP sub programs and large projects, aligned with FPP Parts 4-9.
Purpose
Announced by the NSW Government as part of the 2026-27 NSW Budget in June 2026, the Health Asset and Equipment Renewal Program (HAERP) will fund the replacement and upgrades of medical equipment, critical clinical systems, and deliver essential facility upgrades including building integrity works and engineering services.
Objectives
- Measurable reduction in renewal liability for priority assets
- Improve asset reliability, safety and resilience for supporting health services
- Improve asset management capability across NSW Health
- Increase the adoption of smart procurement practices to deliver the Program
- Contribute to NSW Health statutory and code requirements
Scope
The scope includes:
- Provision of project manager services for the HAERP Program over an approximate 4 year period
- Assisting with program delivery across HAERP sub programs and large projects
- Alignment with the FPP Parts 4-9
- Alignment with asset and equipment replacement requirements as advised by the Ministry of Health (MoH)
