Volunteer Resource Service

⁠⁠⁠Manningham City Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide a volunteer resource service (the service) to residents and organisations within the City of Manningham on behalf of Council.

The Contractor will be responsible for:
* Recruiting and assisting local residents to find out more about volunteering so that they can be ready to offer their services to community/not for profit organisations.
* Supporting community/not for profit organisations in need of volunteers by supplying job-ready volunteers who are matched to available roles.
* Representing Manningham City Council in advocating for volunteers and in keeping abreast of trends and issues within the sector.
* Coordinating volunteer training, information sharing and sector support for volunteer organisations within the municipality.

The service will reflect a partnership approach in which the Contractor will work in collaboration with Council to promote and facilitate volunteering in the City of Manningham.

The contract will be for 3 years beginning on 1st July 2019 with 2x1 year options.
