Exciting opportunity to participate in a Transport for NSW Market Sounding for Zero Emissions Bus Services Trial in Sydney. NSW Government is seeking input from industry, partners and researchers to help inform a potential procurement of a Zero Emissions Bus trial in Sydney.
Zero Emission Buses will help create quieter, cleaner and more liveable centres and to operate vibrant local businesses, where air quality impacts and noise disruption are reduced. The trial of electric buses will be an important step in achieving the sustainability goals included in Future Transport 2056 and the NSW Government’s aspirational target to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
TfNSW wants to explore any benefits in partnering with industry and the research community to undertake trials and understand how we can enable our vision for a zero emissions future that will deliver on the outcomes in our Future Transport Strategy of: Customer focus; Successful places; A strong economy; Safety and performance; Accessible Services; and Sustainability.
TfNSW is seeking interested parties to participate in a market sounding event that will be held in February 2019 in Sydney.
