Yarra Valley Trail Stage 1A

⁠⁠⁠Yarra Ranges Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced Contractors for the design and construction of approximately 7.66 kilometres of shared path and associated works of the Yarra Valley Trail Section 1A between Beresford Road Lilydale and MacIntyre Lane Yering in accordance with the plans and specifications.

The Contract is expected to be awarded in March 2019. The successful contractor will need to commence works in early April 2019, with substantial progess by 30 June 2019.

A Compulsory Pre-tender meeting will be held on site on Wednesday 30 January 2019. Contractors are required to provide notification of their intent to attend the briefing via email to p.goodison@yarraranges.vic.gov.au. Meeting times and location will be confirmed via reply email.

The Contractor will be appointed as Principal Contractor for the purposes of regulation 333 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations (2017) Regulations, and will be authorized to manage or control the workplaces relevant to the carrying out of works at the site to the extent necessary to discharge the duties imposed under Subdivision 2 of the Regulations.

The Contract will be a Lump Sum / Schedule of Rates. Rise and fall will / will not apply

Tenderers should be aware that the electronic lodgement of files may take time, and the tenderer must make its own assessment of the time required for full transmission of its offer.

Tender responses must be in Microsoft compatible format.

The maximum individual file size is 500MB. The system will allow a maximum of 10 files to be uploaded at one time with a total file size limit of 2GB.

Council’s strong preference is to receive a zipped file containing tender submission together with any other relevant document files.
Your submission will be recorded as being received after the transmission of all the files has been successfully completed. An online receipt will be displayed upon completion.
