Tender Description
CWW have identified an opportunity within their potable water network to harness excess pressure for production of renewable energy.
CWW envisage the use of a hydro-turbine installed at an existing Pressure Reducing Station (PRS) in Keilor Park, Victoria, to generate electrical energy to be fed into the nearby electrical distribution system.
CWW are seeking to procure a pre-assembled mini-hydro package all housed within a 20' freight container.
In general terms, the Works to be provided in supply of the mini-hydro package include:
* Sizing and selection of the mini-hydro technology
* Design of the containerised plant
* Supply of the containerised plant
* Factory acceptance testing
* Commissioning of installed plant
