Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council (Council) requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the design and construction of an Amenities building in Victoria Park (Oxley Park Reserve).
The Works are located within the Oxley Park Reserve, known as 'Victoria Park', Tamworth, and are part of Tamworth Regional Astronomy and Science Centre (TRASC) Project.
The Scope of Works for the project and the Scope of Service for the successful Contractor are defined herein, and the design and construction deliverables shall comply with the requirements.
Prefabricated building solutions are acceptable.
Council's timeframe is to have the design approved documentation Issued For Construction (IFC) at the earliest opportunity and by no later than 31 May 2019.
Construction works may not commence until after 1st July 2019, pending approval of an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit and Crown Land landowners consent. Council's timeframe is to have the amenities building constructed and operational by no later than 30 August 2019.
The amenities building will be constructed in the north east corner of the carpark, adjacent to the Model Rail Engineer's storage container and workshop area.
