The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for the Strategic Asset Management Project. This is an exciting opportunity to streamline AMSAs Asset Management capablities including Aids to Navigation (AToN), property and IT assets.
You will report to the Project Manager working with a Solution Architect, several business SMEs and an external vendor software provider.
Work with the project team to:
* Develop, analyse and document current and future business processes and requirements;
* Actively engage relevant stakeholders to ensure the business requirements are accurately captured, agreed and that stakeholders are fully informed and engaged;
* Communicate with business and technical SME's to define needs based on an understanding of business, information and technical constraints;
* Identify risks, issues and escalate to the Project Manager for review and corrective action where necessary; and
* Identify and engage relevant stakeholders and setup relevant workshops to elicit current and future system needs.
