Tender Description
This Scope of Works covers the requirements for 3D Scanning of components of the below water fixed plant to enable redesign of chutes and bins within the defined areas.
1. Walk the task visit two weeks prior to work commencing
2. Scan nine areas of the Plant in order of priority:
a. AF2201 – 04 – Feed onto the Apron Feeders from the Coarse Ore Bins
b. AF2201 – 04 Tail End
c. CV2206 – 09 Head Chutes
d. Scrubber Feed Chutes.
e. CV2211/12 Transfer Chute
f. Dry Screening O/S Chute
g. Dry Screening Fines Chute
h. Wet Screen Fines Chute
i. Wet Screen Lump Chute
3. Requirements include
a. Utilisation of multiple scanning points
b. Sufficient surfacing (in cyclone or other)showing clearly the chute or bin
c. Scans are to be inclusive of the surrounding structure of the Chute or Bin including
i. Belts and Pulleys
ii. Skirts
d. A base station model to verify the scan
e. Scanning must be accurate to +/- 2mm
4. The outputs of the scanning are
a. Para-solid and step file format able to be used in a Solidworks environment
* Vendor to work with Rio Tinto to find a compatible format if these options do not work initially.
b. Sufficient surfacing (in cyclone or other) showing clearly the chute or bin being scanned
c. All mounting points with details of the holes
d. Photographic overlays for every scan
e. Base station model
All work is to be executed in dayshift during WK5 2019 shutdown
* Expected start time - 9am 1/02/19
* Expected finish time - 12 noon 4/02/19
