NDIS and mental health capacity building – Online Resource Project.
The Online Resource Project aims to build the capacity of NDIS support providers and NDIA staff, who have limited experience of working with people with psychosocial disability, to ensure they understand, effectively engage with, and appropriately support this group and their families and carers.
This project proposes to develop information materials for NDIA staff and mainstream and community organisations that are NDIA providers to support them to better understand and be more inclusive of the needs of people with psychosocial disability, and enhance the quality of their engagement with NDIS, NDIS plans and supports. The information materials will be made available online through a collaboration with the NSW Ministry of Health digital content media and communications team.
