Tender Description
VicTrack is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the maintenance of essential safety systems.
To comply with its obligations as a building owner and under the Building Regulations 2018, VicTrack must ensure that Essential Safety Measures (ESM) are maintained so that they operate satisfactorily. VicTrack has extended the scope of items considered part of ESM maintenance and repairs to include electrical equipment – namely switchboards and electrical systems supporting or supplying an ESM – referring to them collectively as Ancillary Systems. The proposed panel for providing repairs to ESM equipment and Ancillary Systems has been named the Fire, Life Safety and Ancillary Systems Works Panel.
It is intended that VicTrack will identify suitable providers and implement a Panel for reactive and proactive works beyond inspection and basic maintenance relating to the fire, life safety and ancillary systems in its buildings and properties.
