Hume City Council invites tenders for the Road Rehabilitation of Blair Street, between Riggall Street and Kiewa Crescent, Dallas.
Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this Request for Tenders ensuring evidence is provided in response to the evaluation criteria.
The project involves the road rehabilitation for 260 metres of Blair Street between Riggall Street and Kiewa Crescent, Dallas. The works include asphalt resurfacing of the existing road pavement, kerb and channel, drainage, vehicle crossings, footpath, linemarking, landscaping and naturestrip reinstatement.
Blair Street, between Riggall Street and Kiewa Crescent, Dallas has an approximate daily traffic volume of 17,000 vehicles.
Traffic Management for the project is required to maintain vehicular access to all abutting properties during the duration of the works. This can include stop/slow by traffic controllers during work hours. Staged sections of road and lanes closures may be permitted at the discretion of the project manager.
This will require the placement of all necessary signs and barriers and a detour route. The closure will be subject to approval from the local Bus Operator of route 532 and 540, abutting property owners, emergency services and Council’s project manager.
