Invitation for EOI - Mackay Northern Access Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR or the “Principal”) invites suitably prequalified contractors (the “Applicant”) registered at R4 B3 F50 and above, to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) application for construction of the Mackay Northern Access Upgrade Project (MNAU). A minor work component prequalification level of A3 is required for asphalt works.

The Applicant must satisfy the requirements of the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts to the levels specified above. A successful Applicant must be accredited and maintain accreditation for the duration of the project under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme. In addition, joint ventures or partnerships may apply for this Expression of Interest after submitting a Joint Venture Application for prequalification of the joint venture, if the joint venture is not already prequalified.

The Principal may select a Tender at the conclusion of the two-stage process as described in the Expression of Interest documents, leading into a Transport Infrastructure Contract – Construct Only (TIC - CO).
