This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Defence has a requirement for an online video-hosting service that adheres to the security requirements of the Department of Defence and has the ability to broadcast video content.
Defence requires the continuation of services for the hosting of the Defence Video Portal (www.video.defence.gov.au), which enables videos to be uploaded on the Defence website and intranet.
What's the key problem you need to solve? Defence needs to be able to host videos on both the internet and intranet as a critical communication function. The service’s requirements are:
* Accessible to (WCAG 2.1) level AA compliance.
* Accessible on all portable devices and allow for playlists.
* Allow upload and download of videos in high definition and in various formats.
* Available on the Defence Restricted Network.
* Shareable on public social media channels.
* Viewable as an endless loop of streaming video.
* Enable analytics of video activity domestically and internationally.
* Enable embed codes for videos to be embedded on various Defence web sites when required.
* Enable upload of headlines and captions in order to give context.
* Enable videos to be categorised and assigned to a customised drop-down menu.
