Tender Description
Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the installation of solar powered flood monitoring systems at three strategic sites in the upper catchment of Freshwater Creek, located in the Cairns suburb of Redlynch.
Monitoring systems must be compliant with Bureau of Meteorology design and equipment specification; ALERT compatible with BOM radio network, expandable to include water velocity and flow and each integrated with a PTZ camera system. Two of the sites will be compatible with a total of five linked 'smart' flooded road warning signs.
Local Disaster Coordinator will be conducting an optional site meeting at 10.30am, Friday 16 November 2018 meeting at the Mary Parker Bridge, Redlynch.
