Tender Description
Parkes Shire Council ("Council") is proposing to undertake an expansion of the Parkes Airport to cater for larger aircraft, accommodate increasing demand on existing facilities and enhance the facility's ability to function as a hub for a range of aviation related activities.
Lighting works include but may not be limited to:
(a) Design and construction of lighting infrastructure to proposed newly aligned Taxiway C;
(b) Integration of new lighting into existing Parkes Airport lighting system
The Principal (Council) will provide the following:
(c) Airport Work Safety Officer for critical airside works
(d) Site amenities and work zone delineation
(e) Excavation of trenches and removal of spoil.
This upgraded and new infrastructure will provide the required space and capacity to cater to the increased demand associated with the expansion of the aerodrome, which will allow more flights and larger planes to land at the aerodrome.
