Tender Description
The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is seeking Proposals for Tactical Communication and Physical Intervention training to Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol (QBFP) Officers accross the state.
It is envisaged that this training (1-2 Days for initial training) will take place within each of the 5 QBFP Cluster areas and be conducted in conjunction with Cluster meetings which are held on a regular basis. Initial training all Officers to be undertaken within first 12 months & then refresher training (not more than 1 day) to occur for all Officers each year after that for a period 2 years.
Clusters leaders (District Managers) are based at Gold Coast, Brisbane, Hervey Bay, Airlie Beach and Cairns however training may occur at other centres within the cluster area.
It is expected that this training will include the provision of face to face training in all aspects of Operational Safety including tactical communication & assault avoidance for all Officers of the QBFP.
