Tender Description
The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 1718-144 for the provision of Booked/Scheduled Hard/Green Waste Collection Service.
Pricing is requested for the following service types:
Type One – One booked 2 cubic metre hard waste collection per household per year
Type Two - Two booked 2 cubic metre hard waste collections per household per year
Type Three - One booked 2 cubic metre hard waste or green waste collection per household per year
Type Four - Two booked 2 cubic metre hard waste or green waste collections per household per year
Type Five – Municipal wide hard waste and green waste collection
It is anticipated that the initial service is the Type One service consistent with Council’s current service. Council reserves the right to implement other service types with sufficient notice.
The Council is seeking to appoint a single provider to deliver the services.
The initial term of the new contract arrangement is for five (5) years.
Council may at its discretion, extend the operation of the Contract beyond the Initial Contract Term for two (2) x one (1) years.
The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed seven (7) years.
It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on 1 August 2019.
