The Principal is seeking tenders from suitably qualified Contractors for the external refurbishment of the Drill Hall and its Annexe, at 1C New Beach Road, Darling Point NSW
Contractors are advised that the Building is a Heritage Listed Building and particular care will be required from the appropriately qualified and experienced successful Contractor to respect the fabric of the building while carrying out the works.
The purpose of the proposed works outlined in this schedule is as follows:
* To maintain the structural and functional integrity of the Drill Hall and adjacent Annexe.
* To protect and maintain early/original fabric.
* To repair or replace fabric that is no longer able to perform its function.
* To maintain or improve weather protection.
* To improve/replace inadequate or blocked stormwater disposal systems.
