Manufacture, Supply & Delivery of Corporate Business Apparel, (Male & Female Attire)

⁠⁠⁠The Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board (MFB) is seeking a suitable experienced Uniform supplier to provide uniforms to all Corporate MFB staff.

In total MFB has approximately 355 corporate staff spread across eight locations. (Craigieburn, Thornbury, Sunshine, Preston, East Melbourne, Oakleigh, Burnley, Burwood East.)

The staff consists of approximately 319 staff classed as full time, 36 staff are part time/ temporary staff members. All garments are to have the MFB logo and any alterations to garment’s Hem and Sleeve Length will be made as required, and at no further expense to MFB.

The uniforms will be of a suitable quality consistent with the demands of Emergency Services staff, should be sufficient in fabric, styles to meet various shapes, sizes, height and age demographic.

MFB is looking at selecting a corporate colour range, and offering a range of items to corporate staff that meet their needs in the corporate colours. The uniform range will consist of some items of casual wear. The uniform rollout will cover all corporate staff; uniforms will be fit for purpose in line with industry and Australian standards.

The wearing of the MFB corporate uniform apparel is voluntary.

MFB will contribute a maximum of $690.00 (ex GST) towards purchase of corporate apparel by each permanent employee upon notification of completion of probation period per year.

Long term temporary and contract staff, whose employment arrangements will continue for at least 12 months (must be approved by responsible Executive Manager) will be eligible for the range of corporate apparel to the value of $450.00 (ex GST)
