Hepburn Health Service HHS is seeking a suitably qualified Construction contractor for the refurbishment of HHS’s Trentham Aged Care facility. The works involve:
Alterations and additions to the existing Trentham Aged Care Facility at 22 Victoria Street, Trentham VIC 3458. For the purposes of allocating funding, the work consists of two packages, Main Works and Additional Works. Tenderers are to note that if the cost of the additional works is accepted by the Principal, the additional works will be constructed concurrent with the main works.
The Main Works are as follows:
* Addition to the existing Dining/ Living Area;
* Widening of doorways to bedrooms and associated alterations/making good;
* Relocation of tea making facilities in the existing Sitting Room.
The Additional Works are as follows:
* Refurbish existing Laundry/ Store and Pan Rooms for use as a Store Room;
* Refurbish existing Store Room for use as a Laundry/ Salon Room;
* Replace 3 existing external hinged doors & window assemblies with 3 automatic sliding doors & window assemblies widening of doorways to bedrooms and associated alterations/making good.
The work includes paving where noted but does not include soft landscaping.
The owner will be in occupation during construction and the work will need to be staged to minimise disruption to the residents and staff. Construction Staging diagrams are included in the tender documents as a minimum standard requirement during tendering and will be negotiated and confirmed prior to the commencement of the works.
