La Trobe University is seeking to enter into a partnership for the contemporary and innovative provision of desktop / laptop computing hardware, deployment and life cycle management services.
At present the University manages a large fleet of computing assets spread across several campuses and satellite offices. Although the fleet size is relatively stable, staff and student expectations are evolving constantly, this along with an appetite to deliver a best value solution to our organisation has driven this market engagement.
Following the RFI process and receipt of submissions, potential partners will be shortlisted and invited to present and discuss their solutions and how they might practically align with La Trobe's strategic plan.
The University will use the information derived from this process to inform a Procurement Sourcing Strategy and subsequent next steps, which may include a range of potential activities from direct negotiation to a fully documented Request for Proposal process.
The University is interested in innovative solutions which streamline existing process and improve service to staff and students. Scope for responses is broad and they may encompass the entire supply process to the end users, or just enhance the existing processes.
