Museums Victoria Essential Safety Measures & Surveying Services

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from appropriately experienced and reputable Building Surveyors who are capable of delivering the following services:

* Auditing of Essential Safety Measures Schedules and Service Providers (ESM)
* Inspection and assessment of Passive ESM
* Preparation of ESM Maintenance Schedules and Determinations
* Integrated Fire Mode Testing
* Annual Reports and Statements (AESMR)
* Building Approvals and Certification
* Design Certification
* Performance Solutions
* Data Management and Reporting Systems

Building Surveyors responding to this EOI must be able to provide clear evidence of experience and skills in the following areas:

* Substantial experience providing the required services (above) for 9b type buildings
* Provision of Performance Solutions for public spaces – in particular galleries, theatres or similar for 9b type buildings.
* Working with Fire Engineering and other engineering disciplines to provide alternative / non –standard solutions.
* Substantial service experience with Heritage Listed Properties.
* Working knowledge of the Heritage Act 2017, conservation as it applies to the built environment and conservation management principles and practice.
* Change of use scenarios and the requirements from a planning and approvals perspective.
* Place the highest priority on OH&S and environmental management to ensure the Services are provided without risk of injury or illness to persons in or near any workplace, nor any environmental contamination
* Achieve value for money and quality outcomes for MV through the life of the Contract.

To support this MV seeks to develop a partnership and close working relationship with the Contractor which will facilitate the development of a collaborative relationship where issues can be openly communicated and addressed.
