Tender Description
The Yarra Ranges Shire Council invites tenders from suitably experienced parties for Monbulk Oval Redevelopment (‘the Works’), (Melways Ref Map 122J12).
This project includes, but is not limited to:
* Removal and disposal of the existing surface;
* Spraying out of all re-emerging vegetation on the sports field;
* Surface cultivation to a minimum depth of 125mm with turf specific machinery;
* Adjustment of irrigation heads;
* Supply and installation of new synthetic grass run ups to the existing cricket pitch;
* Levelling and trimming to supply and install sand carpet;
* Laying of specified established turf sod; and
* Management of irrigation requirements for the first (7) days.
A sample and site inspection from where the specified turf is harvested is required from the preferred Contractor before tender award.
A defects liability period of one (1) month applies.
Tenderers are advised that physical works must commence by 1 October 2018 and works must reach Practical Completion by 30 November 2018.
