General Property Maintenance Multi-trade and Single Trade Contractors 
To participate in Standing Offer Deed Contract
 
Wentworth Community Housing (Wentworth) is a social and affordable housing provider that manages properties and tenancies in the greater Western Sydney region, with large majority (˃90%) of which are in the Blue Mountains, Penrith, Hawkesbury, Blacktown and Hills Shire Local Government Areas (LGAs). A small number reside in Sutherland and Campbelltown LGAs.
 
In order to manage an expanding property portfolio and meet increasing demands efficiently and productively, Wentworth is inviting   multi-trade building and speciality trade contractors interested in providing maintenance services assisting Wentworth in the continuing care and upkeep of over 2200 properties. 
 
Wentworth is offering five (5) main work packages:
1. General Maintenance – providing responsive and planned maintenance work as required including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, general building and tree removal etc.
2. Lawns, Grounds and Cleaning– provide strata type lawns and grounds maintenance and common area cleaning to approximately 100 complexes
3. Smoke Alarms Services - providing smoke alarm compliance testing and servicing for  over 3400 smoke alarms
4. Building Essential Services– provide regulatory compliance servicing of fire detection and prevention systems. This includes all fire detection and Control Systems such as hydrants, fire extinguishers, fire panels, thermal detectors, fire curtains, emergency lighting, evacuation systems etc.
5. After Hours Contact Centre – handling all Wentworth after hours calls,  relating to repairs and maintenance organising  works to be carried out in line with Wentworth’s out of business hours directives. 
 
Respondents are to provide information on the following criteria for assessment of expressions of interest submissions.
 
1. Licences held over past three years
2. Evidence of proven track record working in occupied domestic, low rise, medium density properties over the past three years      (community or social housing experience preferable)
3. Staff qualifications and experience
4. Insurances currently held by contractor, including values
5. Statement of Financial Capacity that may be verified
6. Trading name or legal entity including ABN
