Request for Quotation: Tuena Hall and Recreation Area – Wastewater Management Project Stage 1 and Stage 2

⁠⁠⁠Council has received funding under the Veolia Mulwaree Trust for a Wastewater Management project at the Tuena Recreation Area.

The works required at the Tuena Recreation Area will be completed in stages. This quotation request is for Stage 1 with the option to quote stage 2. Stage 2 will commence with stage 1 if funding is available. Future Stage/s will be undertaken as funding is available.

A summary of the works is as follows, but not limited to;
Stage 1 (Quotation Required)
* Supply of documentation to the Upper Lachlan Shire Council (ULSC).
* Removal of existing toilet block and concrete slab. Site levelling for the new toilet block.
* Installation of a new sewer line from hall to septic tank.
* Installation of a new sewer line from the new toilet block to join into hall sewer line.
* Pre-lay all wastewater pipes for the new toilet block.
* Installation of septic tank and connection to the absorption bed.
* Construction of stage 1 absorption bed and distribution boxes.
* Decommissioning existing Septic tanks and absorptions trenches.
* Supply of all materials related to the above work unless noted otherwise.

Stage 2 (Quotation Optional)
* Construct a second absorption trench.
* Installation only of an Aquatec Low Pressure Sewer Unit. Low pressure Sewer Unit to be purchased and supplied by ULSC.
* Connection of a low pressure sewer line from the low pressure sewer unit to the connection junction on the inlet side of the septic tank installed in stage 1.
* Supply and install a gravity sewer line from the shower block to the low pressure sewer unit.
* Supply of all materials related to the above work unless noted otherwise.

Council will complete the construction of the new toilet block in Stage 1.

The Sewer Drainage plans for Stage 1 and Stage 2 indicating the existing infrastructure and proposed septic works location are attached.

Council requires quotations from appropriately licensed Contractors to undertake the works identified in accordance with the scope of works.
