Tender Description
Yass Valley Council is seeking tenders to replace several sections of the existing aging watermains across the network.
The proposed work packages includes:
- Package A involves the installation of approximately 1330m of DN300 MPVC watermain along Ford Street and Demestre Street together with three (3) cross connections along Yass Valley Way.
- Package B involves the installation of approximately 480m of DN450 DICL and DN300 MPVC watermain along Cooks Hill Rd and Orion st as well as the construction of a large concrete valve pit.
Watermain (Package A) to be completed within 4 months of award of Contract (2026/2027) and Watermain (Package B) to commence in July 2027 and be completed within 4 months from commencement date.
A mandatory site meeting will be held for the project on Tuesday, 26 May 2026 @ 1:30pm.
