Supply and Install New Toilet Block at the Moorook Riverfront

⁠⁠⁠Scope involves supply and install of one new toilet block at the above site location including:

Tenderer to quote lump sum for each option as specified below for Council to consider which option is suitable.

Council will only accept one option;
The toilet block must be constructed under one single roof and floor area.
The toilet must be compliant with AS 1428 – 2009.

* Option 1 – 1x unisex accessible toilet with baby change station and 4x unisex toilet areas
* Option 2 – 1x unisex accessible toilet with baby change station,4x unisex toilet areas and 1x men’s urinal

The scope of the project is to supply and install a toilet block that comprises, as a minimum, the following items:
1. Curved roof with a verandah to provide an entrance and shelter over the toilet openings.
2. Sensor lights to be supplied and installed under the verandah and within the toilet areas.
3. Access to toilet block from the existing sealed area is to be wheel chair access friendly and compliant with AS 1428 – 2009.
4. Corrugated iron cladding with optional feature of recycled plastic or colorbond cladding on key elevation points.
5. Foldable baby changing stations to be installed in accessible unit.
6. Standard commercial grade sanitary ware and tapware complying to all Australian Standards and in particular AS1428 -2009.
7. Vandal proof safety glass mirrors above hand basins.
8. Electronic magnetic door closing that can be timed according to requirements and season.
9. Toilet block must incorporate Anti-vandal and anti-graffiti materials.
10. Steel internal walling preferred over tiled walls to support low-maintenance cleaning and anti vandal.
11. Low or zero maintenance system preferred as and where possible.
12. Tenderers must provide floor, elevation, plumbing plans as part of tender submission.
13. Tenders must itemise details for all fixtures and fittings as part of their tender submission.
