Tender Description
Roads and Maritime Services is seeking submissions in response to its Invitation for Request for Proposal for the Panel of Architectural Acoustic Treatment Project Management Services.
Roads and Maritime implements an annual Noise Abatement Program (NAP) to mitigate noise impacts associated with existing State and Federal roads that are not subject to any upgrade proposals and where road traffic noise levels are high.
Roads and Maritime will establish a Panel of Architectural Acoustic Treatment Project Management Services to manage the implementation of acoustic treatments to residential buildings by Acoustic Treatment Contractors on behalf of Roads and Maritime. It is estimated that treatment of 80 to 200 residences each year may be required. Appointment to this Panel as an Architectural Advisory Consultant to provide acoustic treatment project management services will not guarantee any amount of work.
Roads and Maritime has established a separate Panel of Acoustic Treatment Contractors from which an installation contractor will be chosen to undertake the acoustic treatments to residential buildings.
All tenderers must comply with the New South Wales Government’s Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework) and Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code). Copies of the NSW Framework and NSW Code are available at www.procurepoint.nsw.gov.au.
