Delivery of Mental Health and Wellbeing Training

Safety Wellbeing and Workplace Relations Branch seeks to undertake a public tender to engage suitable facilitators to deliver mental health and wellbeing training for managers and supervisors.

The purpose of this RFT is to:-

* Identify experienced training facilitators, with relevant background experience, to deliver DELWP’s program in Mental Health & Wellbeing and represent DELWP’s People & Culture Branch to support a cultural change program and aid the implementation of revised Safety & Wellbeing systems

* Establish consistent and high quality delivery of DELWP’s content

* Ensure adequate capacity to deliver the two programs within the required timeframes.  One program is targeted to people leaders (VPS6, managers & Directors) while the other, larger program is directed towards other managers, supervisors and employees (for further information regarding the Programs please refer to RFT Part B – Specification).

Train the Trainer Program is to be completed with selected facilitators prior to roll out.  This will involve a briefing, facilitators observing a session, be observed by DELWP representative as they deliver a session, then DELWP to observe the facilitator at their first solo session.

Commencement of this training is due to commence in August, to ensure sufficient time is provided to meet the training delivery targets. Selected facilitators must satisfactorily complete the Train the Trainer Program and satisfy facilitator quality requirements in order to be selected to supply.

These Programs could be delivered by either individual facilitators or single/several service providers who are able to provide the necessary number of suitably experienced and engaging facilitators to deliver the training across training across Victoria. Administration support (booking of venues, scheduling, course enrolments, catering, etc.) will be provided by DELWP’s Training Services Function.

The initial term of the Standing Offer Contract is three (3) years with two (2) x one (1) year extensions exercisable at the sole discretion of the Department.
