Tender Description
Cumberland Council Merrylands is a commercial office building currently housing approximately 250 Council staff. The Cart is situated in the piazza which is open to the public and accessible by library patrons. The Piazza is accessible via Memorial Ave and Merrylands Library.
Opening times of the piazza are generally between 8am - 4:30 pm. Water and power are available and will be metred by Council. The site also has room for non-exclusive tables and chairs. Currently there are 3 tables and 12 chairs that can be taken in its current condition if desired by the operator, but must remain available for general seating as well as patrons.
It is proposed that the cart will be fully contained and will offer:
* Espresso coffee
* Tea
* Hot chocolate
* Light snacks such as muffins, cakes and pre-prepared sandwiches.
The licence agreement will be entered into at a rental to be negotiated for a term of two (2) years.
