Interactive Solutions

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (DoE) is a large and complex organisation providing services through the broad service delivery areas of early childhood education and care (ECEC), and school education. There are approximately 1230 state schools delivering education to more than 530,000 students across Queensland. DoE also have a network of regional offices across seven (7) regions and a central office to support these schools. In Queensland there are also approximately 500 independent and catholic schools across the State.

The Procurement Services Branch provides procurement services to service delivery areas through establishing effective SOAs that deliver customer-focused, value for money outcomes and encourage strong industry partnerships and innovative procurement. Suppliers are invited by the State of Queensland (acting through the Department of Education) to submit an offer for Invitation to Offer No. QEDSOA-71789 for the establishment of a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for the provision of Interactive Solutions as specified in the documents.

The Goods are broken down into four (4) categories. Each category will be progressively evaluated and added to the SOA with category 1 to be this first included in the SOA. DoE intends to validate offerings every six (6) months to enable the department to access new technologies.

Establishing an SOA for the provision of Interactive Solutions. The Interactive Solutions SOA will provide Queensland schools, DoE corporate and other Eligible Customers with access to cost effective and high quality suppliers of Interactive technologies. The Goods and Services will include, without limitation to:

Category OneBoards;

• Smart” panels and screens including those with cameras, touch screens, email capability etc.;
• Projectors and collaboration devices;
• Wireless keyboard and Wireless mice;

Category Two

• Virtual reality and augmented reality devices including, but not limited to headsets, controllers, glasses;
• Robotics – constructible and programmable;
• Connected” toys;
• Document Cameras and Visualisers;
• Wearables including but not limited to smart watches;

Category Three

• Security options to secure Projector and/or Conversion Device;
• Parts;
• Accessories;

Category Four

• Other Innovative technologies;
• Drones and related equipment (Note, this element may or may not be considered for incorporation into Category Four. This will be determined by the department based on the information provided by suppliers
