Bordering the Murray River to the north of Victoria, Gannawarra Shire is three hours from Melbourne by road and around one hour from the neighbouring centres of Swan Hill, Echuca and Bendigo. The shire’s magnificent natural landscapes and Mediterranean-style climate, makes it ideal for agriculture and outdoor recreation.
The site is currently an operating preschool and has two separate buildings, along with outdoor play areas, with one building until recently being a small library and Maternal Child Health office.
This project will replace the existing aged infrastructure with a modern transportable building that will allow for an increase in preschool enrolment in Leitchville, along with providing improvements to current early childhood services.
