The scope of this Request for Proposal is outlined below, but not limited to the following:
* Optimise overhead network inspections and condition assessment by increasing digital data and analysis capability through exploring alternate means of managing traditional inspection programs to better manage safety, inspection/replacement cost efficiencies, and asset reliability performance.
* Seek Request for Proposals from providers of inspection services, network modelling, data collection management and analysis capability to address and/or improve on the business objectives outlined in the RFP documents.
* Seek to understand any alternative technologies that could assist in furthering the efficiencies of Energy Queensland business requirements are encouraged as Energy Queensland desires to further explore the digital and analysis capabilities available in the market.
The purpose of this Invitation is to provide Respondents background, current state and business objectives that EQL are seeking while allowing respondents freedom in determining and presenting the most effective solution to address one or more of these business objectives.
Your response is important; the information received from Respondents will assist with the development of a strategy to inform the best procurement method and approach in meeting the business objectives. This strategy may result in one or more open or closed approaches to the market and each approach may be a different procurement activity/type, for illustration purposes and not limited to the following, it may be:
* Sole Source procurement;
* A proof of concept/capability with a view to establishing detailed specifications for a future procurement; or
* A formal Request for Tender
