About Jemena
Jemena builds, owns and manages major electricity, gas and water assets along the east coast of Australia and we specialise in both the transmission and distribution of electricity and gas.
In NSW we are also responsible for extending, upgrading and maintaining our gas network, responding to gas emergencies such as gas leaks and supply interruptions, working with retailers to carry out all connection services to the gas network, and maintaining and upgrading natural gas metering assets.
Scope of Services
Jemena requires a licensed Service Provider to travel to our work sites and pump contaminated waste water from our underground pipes and regulator pits. This waste is then required to be transported to a registered EPA transfer station where the waste is to be disposed of in accordance with the EPA transfer station’s requirements.
Most commonly we require the disposal of the J100 and J120 waste codes, the Service Provider will also be required to dispose other waste codes as detailed in the Statement of Works.
