Tender Description
Mount Barker District Council is anticipating commencing construction of stage 1 of the Regional Sports Hub on its greenfield site at Springs Rd, Mount Barker in Spring 2018 subject to obtaining development approval, funding approval and final decisions on the scope of stage 1.
Project timelines to expend and acquit current project grants are tight (current grant funding totals: $7.525; a further grant application for $4.4 million is pending, announcement timing is currently unknown). The project timeline is further challenged by South Australian Local Government Elections in November this year resulting in the caretaker period commencing in mid-September.
Sufficient project documentation is now available for a non-price REOI process; however, detailed design documentation has not yet commenced and will be undertaken concurrently to the REOI process
