Tender Description
Tenders are invited from suitably experienced contractors to deliver to core on site security services for Queen Victoria Market Pty Ltd. Contractors will only be considered if they can demonstrate significant experience in the following:
* Managing large spaces attended by the public
* Provision of 24/7 coverage
* CCTV control room supervision and emergence management response
The contract is for an initial three year period with optional one year extensions up to five years (3 + 1 + 1). Tender documentation can be obtained from the Queen Victoria Market Management Office - Level 8, 365 Queen Street, Melbourne between the hours of 9 am and 12 pm Monday to Friday. Payment of a $500 document fee applies, payable by cheque on collection or by EFT in advance. This fee is refundable on the submission of a complying tender only. A site tour and briefing session will be held for interested parties, as indicated in the documents. Registration for this briefing session will be necessary. It is mandatory for all tenderers proposing to submit a tender to attend this tour.
Tenders close at 12 pm on Friday 18 May 2018. All tenders must be deposited in the Tender Box located in the reception area of the Queen Victoria Market Management Office, Level 8, 365 Queen Street, Melbourne between the hours of 9 am and 12 pm Monday to Friday. Tenders received after the closing time or submitted by facsimile will not be accepted.
No tender will necessarily be accepted.
