Tender Description
The Blood Service is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from commercial suppliers for the supply of frozen warehouse services within Australia. Blood samples are to be stored to defined temperature requirements (< -20oC degrees) for a period of time in a facility which will be required to hold or obtain a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) license.
Samples are delivered frozen in boxes, from our four national Processing centres in Australia and must be stored in a manner that facilitates retrieval at any given time. The Blood Service is seeking a long term agreement for the Blood Sample Archive warehouse with the possibility of expansion to include plasma storage and processing later on.
