The Murrindindi Shire Council Audit Advisory Committee is established to provide advice to Council on matters affecting financial reporting, management of risk, maintaining a reliable system of internal controls and facilitating the organisation's ethical development.

The Committee comprises of six members - three Councillors (including the Mayor who is non-voting) and three independent community members.

An opportunity to join the Audit Advisory Committee is now sought for two independent community members with suitable senior business or financial management / reporting knowledge and experience. The positions are for a two-year term, with the option of one additional year subject to endorsement by the Committee and Council.
