Patient Engagement Solution - Entertainment & Information System at the Bedside

⁠⁠⁠Austin Health currently has approximately 544 patient LCD television units offering free to air television, movies on demand and radio to patients at the bedside. There is approximately a further 62 television units in patient waiting areas and staff training areas.

This RFI is looking for a partner that can provide solutions that
* Expands the entertainment and information services available to the patient and to visitors to the hospital
* Integrates with currents hospital systems such as Cerner
* Provides computing services to the treating clinician/nurse, allowing them access to enterprise clinical systems (EMR, Radiology, Pathology, etc.) at the patient bedside, and show radiology and pathology results, including x-rays
* Provides a Nurse-on-Call system
* Provides services such as menu ordering and treatment plans to the patient
* Delivers a hardware, software and solution integration that is compatible over the life of the contract, without a degradation in the quality of service or user experience, or require early refresh of technology.
