Court Services Victoria, are undertaking upgrade works to the Public Address Systems at:
* Melbourne Magistrates Court and Geelong Law Courts
The assets have been identified as either obsolete or non-existent under the asset renewal program. The intent of the project is to replace the current ‘town crier’ approach with a Public Address System to ensure operational continuity and to protect the personnel whose responsibility is to announce the upcoming case that is to be heard by the Magistrate. This will also ensure the current practice of announcements over the EWIS will be terminated which breaches the current building regulations.
The contract is for the design, supply and installation of a public address system, plus the supporting infrastructure required to implement the system, as per the specification in the RFT and to the final satisfaction of the CSV Project Manager or authorised representative.
