Tender Description
Council proposes to engage a contractor to install sports floodlighting at Burkitt Oval and Beverley Road Reserve, Heidelberg.
The works will be undertaken at the discretion of council in accordance with the following staging:
* Stage 1 – Provide an electrical supply upgrade and consolidation to the site.
* Stage 2 – Beverley Road Oval 1 Lighting upgrade works including options for LED.
* Stage 3 – AJ Burkitt Oval 2 Lighting upgrade works including options for LED.
Please note that the site mounted transformer which is supplied and installed by Jemena will be managed by council.
The scope of works is generally as depicted in the attached documentation and includes but is not limited to;
* Civil works including foundations.
* Erection of poles including ancillary structural works.
* Supply and installation of lighting systems.
* All ancillary electrical works, permits and soil testing.
Contractors to note that the three stages are separable portions and as such, council reserves the right to award all or part of the works to one or several contractors.
The Contractor is to familiarise itself with the site, access, extent, complexity and timing of works required and shall take into account any additional or incidental works not specifically listed and shall include all associated costs in their tendered price.
