Tender Description
The Works includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Excavation of existing breakwater crest and verge material and stockpiling of appropriate material for re-use;
- Placement of geotextile and installation of imported selected filter/underlayer material on top of the existing breakwater core material;
- Placement of stockpiled existing armour and additional imported armour to meet the design profile and level of the repaired breakwater section.
- Repair of any damages to existing infrastructure including but not limited to the footpath, kerbing, fencing, bollards and road.
- Traffic management of pedestrians and vehicles along Alexandria View as required.
- Dust and Environmental Management as required.
Note that all works must be completed and approved by the Superintendent prior to the end of the 2017/18 financial year (30 June 2017).
Tenderers may attend a non-mandatory Site Meeting. The City’s Project Manager Coastal Projects will be available on site opposite 96 Alexandria View, Mindarie for this meeting between 9am and 10am on Wednesday 4 April 2018.
